Electronic Arts has 4 major labels that develop a wide variety of games which include action-adventure, role playing, racing, first person shoots, sports and life simulators. EA has transformed from being a small-studio crushing "Evil Empire" to more of a "Big Brother" amongst the studios they acquire. This has lead to a release of many high rated games, which include the Need for Speed, Medal of Honor and Madden Franchises. EA is now focusing its efforts on penetrating the online world of gaming with its release of Warhammer Online: The Age of Reckoning its first attempt at a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) since Dark Age of Camelot - (edit / improve)
