Company Description: Tidewater, through its subsidiaries, owns and operates offshore supply vessels and marine support services to the offshore energy industry. Moreover it operates shipyards in Houma and Louisiana, which construct, modify,and repair vessels. By March of 2008, Tidewater had approximately 460 vessels in operations in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, the Persian Gulf, the Caspian Sea, and areas offshore Australia, Brazil, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Trinidad, Venezuela, and West Africa.
