Company Description: The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, founded in Ohio in 1898, together with its subsidiaries, develops, manufactures, distributes, and sells tires and tire-related products around the world. Goodyear Tires are sold under a vairety of brands including the Goodyear, Dunlop, Kelly, Fulda, Debica, and Sava brands, house-owned brands, and the private-label brands of third-parties. Tire products manufactured, and marketed in house include rubber tires for commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, airplanes, agricultural vehicles, construction vehicles, and industrial equipment. The company also re-treads tires for several industries. Tire-related products include various anti-vibration products; belts and hoses for motor vehicles and industrial applications; and rubber track for tanks, agricultural vehicles, and construction equipment. Goodyears sells its products and miscellanous third-party merchandise through its many tire and vehicle service outlets worldwide, as well as providing vehicular repair services for commercial interests.
