Company Description: Akorn, Inc., founded in 1971, manufactures pharmaceutical products in four segments. Diagnostic and therapeutic ophthalmic products are offered through the Ophthalmic segment. Injectable drugs including anesthesia and pain management products are offered through the Hospital Drugs and Injectables segment. Tetanus-Diptheria vaccines are available through the Biologics and Vaccines segment. The Contract Services segment manufactures products for pharmaceutical and bioTechnology customers.
