Reinvestment Rate Data

Definition

The rate of investments in capital needed to sustain long term economic growth. The lower this rate the better, because a low rate means that additional investments in capital are not needed. Those investments can go in shareholders instead.

Reinvestment Rate = Growth in Operating Income / Return on Capital
